A/Professor Timothy Day
Assoc. Prof Timothy Day is a neurologist with special interest and expertise in assessment and diagnosis of neuromuscular disorders. He has specialist training as a neurologist accredited with the ANZAN and RACP, and undertook an EMG Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston as well as clinical and research lab training at Mayo Clinic, Rochester MN. He has been heavily involved in training young physicians in EMG and other electrodiagnostic techniques over many years, and retains an honorary appointment at the RMH Clinical School.
At Malvern Neurophysiology, A/Prof Day provides detailed nerve conduction studies, EMG assessment for further evaluation of neuropathy, radiculopathy, plexopathy, myopathy and MND. He also offers comprehensive testing of myasthenic conditions using repetitive nerve stimulation and single fibre EMG techniques.
NOTE: Dr Day is retiring from clinical consultative practice at the end of 2023 and is no longer available to see new consultations. Existing patients will be transitioned to other specialists within the practice or elsewhere as appropriate. For the moment, Dr Day is still available for standard and complex neurophysiology testing with nerve conduction studies and EMG.
