Dr Mahi Jasinarachchi
Neuromuscular Neurologist & Clinical Electromyographer
Dr Jasinarachchi is a neurologist with a sub-specialty interest in clinical neurophysiology and neuromuscular disorders.
She completed her fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology and Neuromuscular disorders at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne, where she had comprehensive training in large/small/autonomic nerve fibre testing, EMG sampling, single fibre EMG and tilt table testing. As a consultant associated with Statewide Progressive Neurological Disease Service (SPNDS), Calvary Care Bethlehem Hospital, Caulfield, and through private work she has gained expertise in diagnosis and management of patients with complex neuromuscular disorders. She is involved in the training of advanced and basic physician trainee doctors on a regular basis.
Dr Mahi Jasinarachchi is a member of Australian and New Zealand Association of Neurologists, (ANZAN), Neuromuscular Society of Australia and New Zealand (NMSANZ) and American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic medicine (AANEM).
Dr. Jasinarachchi would be happy to see patients for electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies (NCS) as well as to provide consultation on neuromuscular disorders ie. neuropathy, radiculopathy, plexopathy, myopathy and neuromuscular junction disorders such as myasthenia gravis.
